FIELD: automatic small arms with gas escape. SUBSTANCE: arms has a barrel with a housing and ejector fitted on it from the breech to the gas chamber. Positioned on top the housing is a carrying handle forming a strength triangle with the housing. The handle is U-shaped. Positioned between the gas escape tube and housing is a shield-dissector. The gas chamber has holes communicating with the ejector ducts. The barrel has ribs, whose adjacent sides are made at an angle of 90 deg. (minimum) to each other. EFFECT: improved design. 7 cl, 4 dwg
