FIELD: antifriction materials. SUBSTANCE: samples and countersamples are loaded, one is moved with reference to other, samples are worn out under normal and forces friction modes and efficiency of materials and coats is evaluated. Samples and countersamples are cooled before start of tests under forced condition and rate of their relative movement increases so that temperature in zone of contact under forced and normal conditions of test is same.
