FIELD: testing engineering.
SUBSTANCE: method comprises sliding the cylindrical member over the specimen with friction for constant length of the contact. The contact is loaded so that when the specimen rotates about the Z-axis, the load axis is simultaneously inclined by the same angle in the XY-plane of the member around the Z-axis. The device comprises shaft provided with the cylindrical member, electric drive, reduction gear, frame set in guides and mounted in the roll bearings that are mounted on the common vertical platform set on the outer race of the roll bearing whose inner race is secured to the unmovable housing.
EFFECT: enhance repeatability and reliability.
