FIELD: production of soft roofing materials for construction; preparation of suspensions in other industries. SUBSTANCE: proposed apparatus comprises powder-filled hopper, mixing chamber, inlet branch pipes for admission of powder and liquid, and outlet branch pipe for discharging finished mixture. Mixing chamber acts as deflector to angle 45-60 deg. and its inner surface is lined with fluoroplast-type antiadhesive material. Inlet pipe for liquid is arranged tangentially in relation to upper portion of mixing chamber. Inlet pipe for powder is arranged under powder metering device at center of upper portion of mixing chamber. Outlet pipe for discharging mixture branches off lower portion of mixing chamber and communicates with recirculating pump, outlet of which is connected with inlet pipe for liquid supply to mixing chamber. Finished mixture is discharged at point located upstream of recirculating pump, while pure liquid supply is effected through liquid metering device into suction part of pump.
