FIELD: metering devices in metallurgy. SUBSTANCE: chute is anchored on trough 1 of furnace 2 for curing of melting equipment and support 4 with rocker 5 holding metering hopper in the form of vessel 6 is mounted on it for increased reliability of operation of gear under conditions of high temperatures, operational stability of gear with any change of incidence angle of trough of curing furnace and for provision of possibility of feed of finely divided material on to furnace trough in proportion to outflowing jet of metal. Turn of support 4 with metering hopper is performed with the aid of pneumatic drive 8 which control desk is placed a long way off from trough 1 of furnace. At starting position 1 metering hopper is located above gate 3 in the form of chute which shuts off outlet hole of metering hopper. During drain of metal from curing furnace metering hopper is transferred to position 11. In this case outlet hole of hopper is free and finely divided material freely flows in proportion to outflowing jet of metal.
