FIELD: reception of satellite television programs. SUBSTANCE: method is based on shifting radiation source from reflector focus over arc having radios r=1.13f, where f is focal length of reflector, with center located on focal axis of reflector. At the same time, radiation source directivity pattern width is reduced every r degrees obeying arithmetic progression law and direction of directivity pattern maximum of radiation source is maintained parallel to focal axis. EFFECT: extended scan sector and increased number of programs simultaneously received from satellite transponders. 1 dwg
