FIELD: radio engineering.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to radio engineering, namely to antenna equipment, and can be used in monopulse broadband radar systems and radio control means for detecting and locating radiation sources (RS). Irradiating device consists of four log-periodic radiators, arms of each of which are orthogonally oriented relative to arms of the nearest neighbouring log-periodic radiators, and the planes of the emitters, crossing, form the faces of the regular quadrangular pyramid with the axis coinciding with the line drawn through the geometric centre and the focal point of the mirror located inside the pyramid, wherein to form monopulse beam patterns, irradiators formed by a pair of nearest log-periodic radiators are used, and the angle between the planes of the log-periodic emitters and the line drawn through the geometric centre and the focal point of the mirror is selected from interval of 30…60 degrees depending on operating range and dimensions of log-periodic emitters, wherein log-periodic radiators are made on foil-coated material in the form of a conducting pattern.
EFFECT: ensuring stability of a high level of intersection of the formed beam patterns in an ultra-wide frequency band while maintaining high values of the gain of the antenna.
