FIELD: cytogenetics. SUBSTANCE: 2-3 drops of basic dye obtained from acuminate baneberry fruits (Actaea L.) were placed on plant tissue deparaffinized slices for 20-30 min followed by washing out with tap water for 5-10 min and then with alcohol at increasing concentrations. Finally, slices were placed in balsam. EFFECT: improved method of chromosome identification.
