FIELD: medical engineering; prosthetics. SUBSTANCE: artificial foot comprises ankle connected through talocrural articulation joint with body of foot's posterior segment, foot's anterior segment body connected with posterior segment body by means of ball bearing, posterior and anterior buffers, foot's facing and high-rigidity resilient member intended to accumulate potential energy as foot rolls over during walking through foot's anterior segment, said member being made in form of plurality of disk springs embedded into foot's interior. EFFECT: reduced dimensions and weight of foot's mechanism; possibility to design prostheses for invalids with long stumps of crus. 1 dwg
