FIELD: stomatology. SUBSTANCE: composition has, wt.-%: dehydrated polyphosphate salt, 0.1-7; inhibitor of its enzymatic hydrolysis in saliva, 0.05-4; and special additions, the balance. Inhibitor of enzymatic hydrolysis is synthetic anionic polyvinyl phosphonate of the formula where: M and M₁ are similar or different and mean hydrogen, alkaline metal or ammonium, molecular mass is at least 1000 Da, preferably, 1000000 Da, not above. Composition has pH = 4.5-9. Preferable content of polyvinyl phosphonate is 0.1-2 or 0.05-3 wt.-%. Polyphosphonate salts: hexametaphosphate, tripolyphosphate, pyrophosphate and can contain their mixtures. Preferable content of polyphosphate salt is 4.3- 7 wt.-% as a mixture of tetrapotassium pyrophosphate with tetrasodium pyrophosphate at excess amount of the first component. Preferable special additions: a mixture of 0.1-10 wt.-% gel-forming agent, 10-75 wt.-% water-insoluble polishing agent useful for teeth and water - up to 100%. Silica can be used as polishing agent. Composition is a liquid for mouth rinse and containing an aqueous alcohol at mass ratio water : alcohol = (1-20):1. Composition can contain a producer of fluoride ions as an inhibitor of enzymatic hydrolysis, for example, NaF or alkaline metal monofluorophosphate.
