SUBSTANCE: invention refers to dental care products. Disclosed dental care composition contains in one phase: water in amount of 0 to less than 4 wt% of composition weight; a source of metal ions, wherein the metal ion source contains 0.454 wt% tin fluoride and 2 wt% zinc citrate of weight of composition; at least one polyphosphate salt having four or more phosphorus atoms and selected from a group comprising sodium hexapyrophosphate and sodium hexapolyphosphate; and a thickener consisting of cross-linked polyvinylpyrrolidone. At least one polyphosphate salt is contained in amount of 1–10 wt% of composition weight; cross-linked polyvinylpyrrolidone in amount of 0.05 to 15 wt% of composition weight. Composition is presented in form of paste or gel.

EFFECT: composition of a composition containing an effective combination of ion sources of bivalent tin, fluorine and zinc with polyphosphates containing 4 or more phosphorus atoms, in a single-phase system with low water content using cross-linked polyvinylpyrrolidone as a single thickening agent provides constant viscosity of the composition, low enough for storage of composition for a long storage life.
