FIELD: space engineering; design of space vehicles of regular nature of Sun orientation, geostationary orbit vehicles, Sun-and-Earth-oriented vehicles in circular and high-altitude elliptical orbits. SUBSTANCE: instrument container of square section is located (partially or fully) on four faces of parallelepiped which makes it possible to have compact (not extended along longitudinal axis) container optimally falling in area of payload of injection devices. Increased cooling effect of one and the same volume of instrument container (up to 30 percent) due to employment of outer surfaces which were not used beforehand provides for additional arrangement of thermally-stressed battery in inner volume of instrument container and large number of thermally-stressed instruments and units and making best use of entire volume under cylindrical fairing of rocket launchers. Arrangement of space vehicle includes and combines main units and components of payload and service systems assembled by module arrangement of units grouped according to their functional purpose taking into account permissible temperature range of battery. EFFECT: enhanced efficiency. 6 cl, 14 tbl
