FIELD: manufacture of incombustible corrosion resistant heat- and sound insulating materials. SUBSTANCE: blend comprises swollen vermiculite and ground metallurgical slag, the ratio of components being as follows (wt %): 60-30 fraction 1 with vermiculite particles size of 1-10 mm; 12-15 fraction 2 of ground vermiculite particle size of 0.15 to 0.40 of fraction 1, 2.5-7.5 fraction 3 of ground vermiculite particles size of 0.15 to 0.40 of fraction 2; 2.5-15 fraction 4 of ground metallurgical slag with particle size from 0.15 to 0.40 of fraction 3; 13-20 liquid glass; and 10-12.5 hardening agent. Characteristics: density is 180-220 kg/cubic m and heat conduction is 0.05-0.07 W/m.k. EFFECT: improved properties. 1 tbl
