FIELD: oil refining industry. SUBSTANCE: method of preparation of alkyl benzine by sulfuric acid alkylation of isoparaffins with olefins, preferably isobutane with butylene. Preparation procedure is carried out in tubular reactor by mixing sulfuric acid with isobutane precooled to temperature do not higher than minus 2 C, mixing the resulting emulsion with olefins in several steps and cooling to temperature of not higher than minus 2 C. The claimed method is distinguished from the prior art in that isobutane is mixed with sulfuric acid in inject or mixer with injection coefficient of 3.3-5.2; the prepared emulsion is contacted with olefins at isobutane to olefin volumetric ratio of 3000-5000:1, and reaction products are separated from sulfuric acid by hydrocyclone. Said distinction makes it possible to improve quality of alkyl benzine, increase its octane number by 1.5-2.1 points, decrease ether content by 5 times and reduce specific amount of sulfuric acid.
