FIELD: medicine, ophthalmology, ophthalmosurgery. SUBSTANCE: extractor consists of a rod, a holder and a clamp connected to each other. A clamp is designed as several wire elements made of material with shape-memory effect. A holder is supplied with a channel to direct a cooling agent to a rod. At introducing into scleral cut wire elements which are at 25 C are straightened so no large scleral cuts are needed to insert instrument into an eye. In vitreum wire elements are heated to environmental temperature of 36 C and take a shape that enables to capture a foreign body. At directing a cooling agent a clamp locks and fixes a foreign body. EFFECT: higher efficiency.
