FIELD: veterinary science. SUBSTANCE: articles for the prolonged releasing active substances in the form of tablets, capsules or globules consist of core that contains an active substance and covered with envelope made of polymeric film. Polymeric film is asymmetric envelope formed by phase-inversion method of the following polymers: ethers or esters of cellulose, polyvinyl alcohol, copolymer of ethylene with vinyl alcohol, polyvinylidene fluoride, polyamide, polyurethane, polymethylmethacrylate and polysulfone. An active component is released in gastroenteric liquid. Asymmetric envelope can be permeable and nonperforated or permeable and perforated. Active substances can include antihypertension, sedative, anticoagulating, hypoglycemic or anticatarrhal drugs. A core can contain additionally pharmaceutically acceptable vehicles.
