FIELD: manufacture of jewellery products and nets of chain armour web. SUBSTANCE: apparatus includes two supporting struts arranged in frame. Spring-loaded mandrel with stop bead engaging with compression spring is mounted on said struts. Second end of said compression spring rests upon strut. Splined grooves are made on end of said mandrel joined with drive unit. Said grooves are joined with dents of semiclutch connecting mandrel with drive unit. Sharpened triangle small plate for cutting helices is secured to working end of mandrel radially along its lengthwise axis. On disc along its diameter two tapered protrusions are arranged. Said protrusions form wedge-shaped recess periodically engaging at least with two balls secured to supporting strut. EFFECT: improved design. 2 cl, 3 dwg
