FIELD: petrochemical and petroleum processing industries. SUBSTANCE: during primary mixing, gas (fuel) is admitted in vortex flow to combustion chamber to build up vacuum pressure along burner axis affording entrance of primary air in the amount of 15-20% of quantity required for burning simultaneously with circulating gases in the amount of 10-15% of total quantity emitted during fuel combustion; air and circulating gases are admitted in opposing flows. Fuel-air mixture is ejected from burner nozzle under the action of centrifugal forces together with circulating gases at speed of 40-50 mps perpendicular to secondary air ejected over air duct at speed of 50-10 mps; it is saturated with gas of combustion space in near-wall region with burning temperature being equalized. Gas-burning device has case accommodating swirl mixing chamber terminating in toroidal outlet embrasure with disk-type deflector installed against it, orifice plate, and air duct; orifice-to-sectional-area of primary chamber ratio is 0.25:0.45.
