FIELD: chemical engineering. SUBSTANCE: cooling space of crystallizer between inner wall of roll and cylindrical barrel is separated by radial partitions into isolated cooling sectors. Into each cooling space of sectors, cooling agent is separately supplied and also separately withdrawn through outlet fitting of rotatory shaft. For this purpose, both supply and withdrawing concentric connecting pipes of rotatory shaft are provided with radial collectors linking connecting pipes of rotatory shaft through pipes to corresponding connecting pipes of cooling sector. To increase cooling agent flow velocity, cooling sector space is divided with internal barriers which direct cooling agent from inlet connecting pipe toward inlet one through zigzag conduit. In this case, cooling agent flows from inlet connecting pipe to opposite wall of roll disk where, passing through hole of internal barrier, flow changes its direction toward opposite disk and then repeats such a movement until it gets into outlet connecting pipe disposed in the end of conduit. EFFECT: enhanced cooling efficiency. 2 cl, 4 dwg
