FIELD: chemical engineering. SUBSTANCE: invention concerns centrifugal feeders designed for continuously and uniformly feeding material into two or more vessels, mainly into mill drums of planetary mills. Feeder has side walls with profiled inner surfaces shaped in cross-section as logarithmic spiral described by equation R = Ceaθ where R is radius-vector, C starting radius-vector, e Napierian base, a constant parameter, and θ angle of rotation of radius-vector. Walls disposed, in direction of rotation of feeder, after loading mouth and adjoining it have larger steepness than walls being adjacent to them and located before loading mouth. Accordingly, parameter a = a1 of logarithmic spiral for cross-section of inner surfaces of flat walls is equal to 0.15-0.95, and parameter a = a2 for that of steep walls is at least 0.8, provided that a2= 1,5a1. EFFECT: optimized construction of feeder. 3 cl, 4 dwg
