FIELD: automotive industry; car accessories; hi-jacking protection of car powdered by internal combustion engine with ignition system. SUBSTANCE: antitheft device has electronic switch series- connected between ignition switch contact and inductance coil, interference shaper whose output is connected with switch and toggle switch. Device is additionally furnished with electronic switch control unit, switching unit, starting pushbutton, storage battery-to-ignition coil wire connection detector and starter relay voltage integrator. Electronic switch control unit together with switching unit, for instance, sealed contact reed relay installed behind the sheathing makes it possible to dispense with concealed toggle switch to engage and disengage antitheft device. Device can be switched off by the user who must switch on starter and simultaneously switch on the switching unit by means of magnet. Starter relay voltage integrator simulates malfunction of engine rather probably. Wire connection detector protects car from hi-jacking by connecting wire directly between storage battery and ignition coil. Pushbutton in driver's door connected through toggle switch on dashboard to electronic switch control unit, after switching on the toggle switch when unacquainted persons are allowed to get into car, interlocks operation of engine if attempt is made to force the driver out of car with car engine operating.
