FIELD: transport engineering; ground, water, air and space vehicles; designing of engines and propulsive devices. SUBSTANCE: jet curtain of flowing medium is formed by nozzle in chamber with at least one output to surrounding medium to which above indicated nozzle is connected. Then flowing medium pressure, lower or higher than surrounding medium pressure, is built. In the first case flowing medium is pumped out of chamber, and in the second case, jet curtain of flowing medium is delivered to chamber, or flowing medium from any other source arranged inside or outside the chamber, is fed, for instance, by fan, and above indicated jet curtain is used to separate chamber output from surrounding medium.
