FIELD: space engineering. SUBSTANCE: system includes set of functional units and with its help pulse of moment of momentum is automatically determined for shifting the space vehicle in course of its free motion from preset initial orientation to final required orientation. Boundary-value problem of determination of initial angular velocities of space vehicle is solved algorithmically to ensure shift of space vehicle within preset time; control moments for acceleration and deceleration are determined by the system. Between acceleration and deceleration sections control moment is equal to zero. For check of turn of space vehicle, use is made of strap-down inertial navigation system and several units for determination and shaping of kinematic and control parameters of space vehicle turn manoeuvre.
