SUBSTANCE: device has a pickup of boom length and driving drum, which is coaxial to it and provided with a flexible member, current collecting drum, and cable whose end is connected with the head of the boom. The device has a vertical guide rod mounted on the rotatable portion of the crane. The rod has a block in its top portion and counterweight mounted for permitting movement with respect to the rod.
