FIELD: examination and analysis of materials. SUBSTANCE: analyzer has two-tube liquid differential manometer, the measuring tube of which is provided with diaphragm and devices recording the beginning and end of measurement, as well as electronic stopwatch. Upper end of measuring tube is coupled to inner space of bellows box fitted with pipe union and valve for communication with atmosphere. Measuring tube is also provided with pipe union and valve coupled to analyzed gas line. Bellows are positioned in inner space of bellows box with their bottom down. Their inner space can accommodate calibrated load. During operation of device, bellows are deformed under the effect of load, and pressure in their inner space increases. As a result, analyzed gas flows out of diaphragm hole, and level of liquid in measuring tube changes. Analyzed gas density is calculated by measuring the time of change of liquid level in measuring tube in comparison with air density. EFFECT: reduced relative error of gas density measurement; simple design and high speed of measurement. 1 dwg
