FIELD: electrical engineering. SUBSTANCE: insulating material manufacturing process includes impregnation of substrate with compound specially developed for the purpose, this procedure being followed by its baking at 60-140 C for 2-30 min. Compound used for material manufacture has in its composition thermosetting resin, BF3=amine complex, thinner, and polyaluminium organosiloxane with Si/Al proportion of 3-6 and gelation time at 200 C not over 5 min, NaOH content being maximum 0.1%; proportion of ingredients is as follows, parts by mass: thermosetting resin, 100; BF3-amine complex, 0.1-5; polyaluminium organosiloxane, 0.1-20; thinner, 0.1-100. Insulating material hardness can be better controlled by doping the compound with thermoplastic resin of molecular mass 15-25 thou. in the amount of 0.1-100 parts by mass per 100 parts of thermosetting resin by mass which may be polyester, polysulfone, polyarylenesulfone, polycarbonate, and the like.
