FIELD: fire-fighting equipment and technique. SUBSTANCE: method involves fire extinguishing with the help of fire extinguisher where operation of igniter initiates channel charge generating flow of aerosol at supersonic velocity at the outlet of nozzle. Flow is formed with the help of injector acting from the main flow of aerosol with the help of which other types of fire-extinguishing means may be supplied to fire seat. The fire extinguisher has igniter and body with channel cylindrical charge from aerosol-forming fuel in whose material from both ends of charge, nozzles are made with angle of opening of 25-35 deg, and critical diameter equalling the diameter of channel. Additionally located on charge body end faces are injectors which consist of coaxially connected diffusers with body by means of diaphragm with intakes. EFFECT: higher efficiency. 5 cl, 2 dwg
