FIELD: mechanical engineering. SUBSTANCE: rotatable-percussion mechanism has housing, motor mounted inside the housing, pin with a percussion end face, rotatable unit with a driving member mounted for permitting interaction with the percussion end face of the pin, and holder of the working member. The housing is provided with screw grooves. The rotatable unit comprises axle box provided with teeth and arranged in guides between the housing and holder of the working member. The driving member consists of three portions. One of the portions is provided with projections that are received in the screw grooves on the housing. The sides of the second portion and the holder of the working member are enclosed with springs whose one ends bear on the housing and other ones bear on the driving member and axle box, respectively. The third portion is provided with a conical teeth that engage the axle box teeth. EFFECT: improved design. 5 cl, 9 dwg
