FIELD: handling flying vehicles at low-altitude flights. SUBSTANCE: method consists in analyzing relief of terrain in front of flying vehicle taking into account all obstacles and maneuvering abilities of vehicle through calculation of flight curve and comparison of it with theoretically optimal terrain following trajectory. Obstacles whose peaks are above reference curve are revealed and their coordinates are transmitted to pilot in form of signs. System for realization of this method contains devices which record all dangerous obstacles in expected course of flight and keep the pilot informed on optimal safe trajectory of flight in following the terrain. provision is also made for use of autopilot for control of low-altitude flight over optimal trajectory, check of safety of flights and transmission of emergency signals to the pilot for correction of flight trajectory. EFFECT: high safety of flights. 4 cl, 6 dwg
