FIELD: transportation.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the field of aviation, namely to equipment of information display in cockpit. When selecting conventional colours of graphical representation of relief instead of absolute or relative altitudes they use ratio of rated angles of relief elements elevation over current position of airplane to limit angles of airplane flight trajectory inclination. Similar indication of earth surface in process of flight in relief folds provides pilot with graphic prompt information on obstacles that the airplane may overcome, if its starts changing into mode of most favorable ascent from this point, and those, which it may not overcome. Besides pilot may receive information on possibility to reach points on surface in process of lowering without airplane speed-up (for phases of lowering prior to water discharge and when approaching for water intake).

EFFECT: invention makes it possible to increase safety of low-altitude flights of airplanes (helicopters).
