FIELD: microbiology, biotechnology. SUBSTANCE: vegetable raw is subjected for two-stage hydrolysis at separated removing hexose and pentose fractions. Wort is prepared, hexose part is fed to fermentation, pentose part is fermented in the presence of yeast strain taken from the following order: Pachysolen tannophilus VKPM Y-1532, P. tannophilus VKPM Y-1634, Candida tropicalis VKPM Y-1633, Candida shehatal VKPM Y-1633, Candida shehatal VKPM Y-1632 at 30-32 C, pH = 4.3-4.5, stirring and aeration. Cultural fluid is combined with mash obtained from hexose part and fed to distillation and rectification. EFFECT: complex wood processing to ethanol.
