FIELD: metallurgy, for example production of noble or pure metals, possibly treatment of melt metal at making ingot in apparatus with ingot mold and torch whose flame is directed to metal surface. SUBSTANCE: apparatus includes casing arranged in upper part of ingot mold and having inner cavity turned towards outer surface of metal. End flow-through cross sections of casing have different areas; its larger cross section is turned to said torch. Casing is removable, it is based on ingot mold by means of latches.
