SAMPLER FOR BED TESTER Russian patent published in 1997 - IPC

FIELD: oil and gas industry. SUBSTANCE: this relates to bed liquid sampling at drilling oil and gas wells, at testing operations with using tube-type bed testers. Installed between multiple-cycle bed tester and its equalizing valve interlocked with shut-off valve are drill pipes having threaded seat and locking needle. After raising to surface, locking needle is unscrewed and gas is released with taking its samples. After pressure is fully released, sampler (drill pipes) is unloaded prior to opening of shut-off valve from underneath. Outflowing liquid is then sampled (if necessary). Use of sampler allows for taking samples considerable in their volume. EFFECT: high efficiency. 1 dwg
