This impact-action device or hammer is simple in design, compact in size and easy to manufacture. It possesses high power due to fact that overflow chamber in it is connected by passage in body through non-return valve with cocking chamber having hydraulic accumulator. Outer surface of circular valve is made in the form of four-stage cylinder. Its first stage at side of cocking chamber is of smallest diameter. Second stage is provided with sealing protrusion and is of diameter which is less than diameter of third stage but larger than diameter of fourth stage adjacent to side surface of stepped opening in body.
