FIELD: mechanical engineering; engines; automatic control of fuel system devices. SUBSTANCE: shutoff valve is open under starting conditions, and fuel from pumping unit is delivered through grooves in rod and throttling section of spool along channel to starting nozzles. Channel connecting space through throttling element is overlapped by cutoff member. Sensitive element meters pressure drop across nozzles whose constant value is set by tension of sensitive element and is provided by changing the throttling section. With shutoff valve closed, rod moves downwards opening the cutoff member and connecting the space and channel with return line through throttling element thus maintaining constant pressure drop across sensitive element. EFFECT: enlarged operating capabilities. 1 dwg
