SOIL TILLAGE PLOW AND METHOD Russian patent published in 1997 - IPC

FIELD: agricultural engineering and production. SUBSTANCE: method involves undercutting upper layer of soil and separating main layer in horizontal plane; lifting main layer and laying it into the same furrow; turning lower soil layer and laying it into previously formed furrow. Plow has frame with plow bodies. Each plow body has horizontal blade adjustable in vertical plane and positioned at the side adjacent to landward edge of moldboard. Blade undercuts upper soil layer which is cultivated by subsequent plow body. Upper parts of moldboards have cuts through which upper soil layer is directed. Deflectors are secured on moldboard wings to direct and return upper soil layer into its furrow. EFFECT: increased efficiency, simplified method and working tool. 3 cl, 2 dwg
