METHOD OF SOIL TILLAGE AND MULTIBOTTOM FLOW FOR IMPLEMENTING SAID METHOD Russian patent published in 2004 - IPC

Abstract RU 2233055 C2

FIELD: agricultural engineering; soil tillage machinery.

SUBSTANCE: to reduce dispersion of soil and increase efficiency of plowing with reduction of energy consumption, solid layer loosened by share is undercut and crumbled. Part of layer is screened in furrow and the rest of layer is shifted along moldboard with subsequent laying in preceding furrow. Plow has frame, plow bottoms with moldboards and shares. Cutting edges of shares are located in horizontal plane at angles opposite to approach angles of moldboards. Spacer is placed between share and moldboard of each plow bottom. Spacer is made of resilient rods arranged longitudinally in direction of movement of soil layer and installed at a distance from each other.

EFFECT: improved efficiency owing to prevention of movement of small clods of soil over moldboard, reduced dispersion of soil at plowing.
