FIELD: medical engineering; medical instruments for examination of tubular cavitary organs of body. SUBSTANCE: proposed apparatus comprises two flaps which can be laid one on top other and which have elongate spoon-shaped jaws, and holders provided with guideways in form of planar fin and open longitudinally extending groove. Apparatus further comprises two pairs of oppositely directed, inclined wedge- like projections for fixation in desired position. Flaps are provided with viewing port for inspecting cavity being examined. Flap holders have, T- and V-shaped profile, respectively. EFFECT: enhanced reliability and rapidity of manipulations for examination of body cavities, for expanding field of vision for surgeon, if necessary, for providing conditions for taking photographs, diagnostics or treatment. 7 dwg
