FIELD: silica production. SUBSTANCE: invention aims at utilizing excess heat of leached slurry evolving in self-evaporator when self-evaporation steam is withdrawn under elevated pressure (7 gage atm) and transferred into evaporation zone. Installation consists of piston pump, slurry-slurry preheaters, autoclaves, agitator for leached slurry, wash water heater, hot wash water tank, and steam line connecting agitator with wash water heater. In addition, installation includes above-said self evaporator. At steam pressure 7 gage atm in self-evaporator, temperature of leached slurry (123-126 C) provides its boiling in agitator and resulting steam is utilized to heat wash water in heater. EFFECT: reduced power consumption. 1 dwg
