DEVICE OF FIXING CONSTRUCTION PANELS ON VEHICLE Russian patent published in 1997 - IPC

FIELD: railway transport; fixing of construction panels for transportation. SUBSTANCE: device has base with support pyramid rigidly secured over longitudinal axis of base. End face thrust shields are rigidly secured to end faces of pyramid and to base. Longitudinal sliding pressure side boards are mounted on hinge joints between end face thrust shields. Each clamping device is made in form of screw pair installed on two supports inside housing arranged on corresponding end face thrust shield. Screw- shaft of screw pair is installed for rotation in place, and pressure nut of screw pair is installed for forward motion along axis of screw-shaft. Each longitudinal sliding pressure side board is provided with eye with slot made in eye bracket. One-sided wedge is fitted in slot between end face wall of slot and outer wall of end face thrust shield. Support surface of pressure nut is made wedge-shaped with two slanted surfaces for engagement of pressure nut with eye when nuts moves horizontally along slot made in corresponding end face thrust shield.
