FIELD: shipbuilding; hulls of tankers and chemicals carriers. SUBSTANCE: ship's bottom floor includes bottom and inner bottom and members connecting them together; provision is made for additional plating without stiffeners which is made from plastic material at smooth relative ultimate elongation no less than 8 percent, for example from steel. Connection of bottom with transverse or longitudinal bullheads or sides is watertight. Deformability of additional plating may be increased due to corrugations. Additional protective member made from watertight elastic material, for example rubber may be introduced between inner bottom and additional plating to enhance watertightness. This protective member is connected with transverse or longitudinal bulkheads bounding the compartment or with ship's sides. EFFECT: high safety of transportation of toxic liquids in case of damage to bottom. 3 cl, 3 dwg
