FIELD: shipbuilding; ship's structural members with vibration absorbing devices. SUBSTANCE: shipboard ceiling has plating with crossing stiffening beams whose ends rest against knees; beams are made from composite material consisting of alternating rigid and viscoelastic layers. Beams are connected with plating through heat-insulating gaskets; plating is provided with coaming over its perimeter; clearances are provided between plating and hull and between plating and bulkheads. Beams are fastened to plating and knees by means of detachable joints, mainly threaded joints. At loss factor in laminar beams low than 0.1, dampening of vibration transmitted to ship's hull is no less than 8 to 10 dB in wide range of audio frequencies. EFFECT: enhanced efficiency. 2 dwg
