FIELD: transport engineering; aviation; venting cryogenic propellant VAPORS from aircraft when liquid hydrogen, methane or liquefied natural gas are used as propellant. SUBSTANCE: discharge of VAPORS of cryogenic propellant into atmosphere is effected through exhaust devices located on small aerodynamic pylons of aircraft; discharge is effected into non-perturbed zones; neither cold nor burning jets of gas are allowed on structural members of aircraft. Separation and spread of vapors at afterbody effect are excluded. Vented vapors are reliably mixed with air and are dissipated taking into account escape of reaction jets of engines of auxiliary power plant and bleeding of atmospheric air. EFFECT: enhanced safety of venting cryogenic propellant vapors. 2 cl, 5 dwg
