FIELD: long time storage of destructed military materiel. SUBSTANCE: trench of required size is dug out in area of concentration of materiel scrap, materiel scrap is transported into trench, units and sets of materiel are partially dismounted and partially cut into pieces, then they are covered with earth and stored until alloy additions are required for melting alloyed steels. EFFECT: enlarged operating capabilities.
