FIELD: manufacture of polymeric film materials, artificial materials and shoe components. SUBSTANCE: claimed method comprises treating low pressure polyethylene film in organic solvent that causes the film to swell. Film is first immersed into organic solvent at 20-25 C for 0.5-1 min, then into organic solvent at 120-150 C for 0.1-2 min. Film is then treated with dimethylformamide and sheet is simultaneously elongated at 500-3000 % and is subsequently dried. EFFECT: more efficient preparation method. 1 tbl
