FIELD: biology and medicine. SUBSTANCE: chitosan is kept in dimethylformamide for 2-24 h at the mass ratio of chitosan and dimethylformamide 1: 3.8-5.8. Shifting stress is influenced on the mixture at value 0,3-3,0 N/mm2, under pressure 0.2-50 MPa, at 45-150 C, and kept in dimethylformamide for 2-24 h again at the mass ratio chitosan and dimethylformamide 1.0: 9.5-14.5. Activated chitosan is treated with sulfatizing agent in dimethylformamide medium, and chitosan ether sulfate is isolated. EFFECT: improved method of chitosan ether preparing. 1 tbl
