FIELD: heat treatment of pipes; applicable directly on process object where pipes are installed to exclude their dismantling. SUBSTANCE: the offered method consists in that heat treatment of bent pipe is carried out by moving two induction heaters from opposite sides to the middle of bend close to each other. Induction heaters are energized and after heat treatment of bend, the induction heaters are moved to opposite sides with successive heat treatment of pipe sections. EFFECT: higher efficiency. 1 dwg
