FIELD: space engineering. SUBSTANCE: propellant tank is provided with fairings mounted on rods in poles of flexible expulsion device and rigidly connected with hold-downs. Fairings are made in form of truncated ogival surfaces coaxial relative to rod and having flat side faces. Their lesser bases are directed to center of tank; end surface of pipe unions engageable with end surfaces of sealing rings are provided with axial projections evenly distributed over circumference for engagement with respective end surface of hold-down; height of these projections is equal to 0.3-0.5 of thickness of sealing rings; thermal expansion coefficient of material of pipe unions is lesser than that of material of hold-downs by 1.5-2 times. Besides that, sealing rings are provided with layer made from material possessing higher plasticity as compared with material of envelope of flexible expulsion device. EFFECT: enhanced reliability of tank due to increased vibration strength of flexible expulsion device. 3 cl, 6 dwg
