DOUBLE-BAND NONPROTRUDING CIRCULAR SLOT ANTENNA Russian patent published in 1997 - IPC

FIELD: antenna engineering. SUBSTANCE: antenna has metal body in the form of turned over truncated cone with flange for fastening the antenna. Truncated cone is closed with dielectric cover. Metal disc with sector slot is positioned inside resonator on one level with flange. One edge of slot is coupled to base of body by means of rectangular metal plate. On the other edge of slot, in sector of angles less than 180 deg. concentric arc-shaped loops are formed with the aid of several concentric arc-shaped slots of equal length and width. Pins the height of which equals distance between disc and resonator base are installed under the above-indicated loops on resonator base. Part of pins is closed to disc, and their total quantity, as well as number of closed and open pins depend on required distance between antenna operating bands. Central conductor of axial power supply cable is connected to disc edge at angular distance of 45 deg. from short-circuited edge of sector slot. EFFECT: more effective design. 2 cl, 1 dwg
