FIELD: antenna engineering; broad-band antennas for vertical antenna arrays with directivity pattern isotropic in azimuth planes; transmitting and receiving antennas. SUBSTANCE: antenna has four vertical plates of two sizes. Unlike plates are mounted relatively perpendicular and form two bearing structures spaced 180 deg. apart with clearance provided between them to receive feeding divider board carrying high-frequency connector and coaxial feeding line. Ground buses of both structures are interconnected through conducting jumpers. Formed on plates are three levels of vertical L-shaped grounded stubs with closed annular stubs placed around them over antenna external perimeter and placed in electric contact with extreme points of vertical parts of stubs and forming, together with annular stubs, three-dimensional half-wave dipole. EFFECT: enlarged functional capabilities; extended working frequency band (up to about octave) due to three-level arrangement of L-shaped collinear stubs. 4 cl, 3 dwg, 1 tbl
